Re-Painting the Leaders' Room

On 3rd and 4th of December 2005, the Supernovas re-painted the leaders' room at Winston Hills Guide Hall.  The group first went out and chose the colours and then bought the paint.  After this, the Supernovas split into two groups. One half went back to the hall to begin painting while the other half went to the shops to buy ingredients for their meals during the weekend.  When they arrived back they too began painting.  The Supernovas painted and painted all day, with energy boosts from some delicious lollies purchased at the shops. The job was completed early the next day with the flicking of the fluoro colour paints on the darkest of the three walls.  The colours that were chosen symbolised the units in the district by using their unit colour.  The feature wall was then a mixture of all the units' colours as well as a portrayal of a supernova.
