Senior Guide Amazing Race
by Katie

The Supernovas went to the Amazing race state-wide camp at Mt Keira where we raced... amazingly. Some of the camp activities were running relays in boots filled with jelly, dropping eggs out of windows and feeling (and drinking beverages composed of) various organs. On the Supernova side of things, we had midnight snacks of apples and carrots and made a dip of somewhat questionable consistency. With all this we still had time to relax on our hand-made sand sofa when we went to the beach for a day. Oh, and along with Emily who we adopted from Kuringai to form the team Superring, we won the race! But even without that, and despite the occasional pouring rain, the camp was a lot of fun.

Refreshment time for Superring

The race involved grass-skiing as a team, a day to the beach (where we made our own sand furniture) as well as a cool and refreshing drink of 'eyeballs'.
