BP and Queen's Guide Award Ceremony
In 2008, the Winston Hills Supernova Guide unit was proud to congratulate its 5 award recipients. Melanie, Melissa and Dasni achieved the prestigous BP award while Gemma and Lorraine received the Queen's Guide Award, the highest award possible in Guiding. The girls all attended the State Awards Ceremony at Abbotsleigh where they were presented with their BP certificates and Focus awards respectively. Gemma and Lorraine later attended a special ceremony at Government House in Sydney where they were presented with their Queen's Guide Awards by the NSW Governor, Marie Bashir.
