JOTA 2005

On the Saturday 15th October 2005 Winston Hills Girl Guides hosted JOTA (Jamboree Of The Air). JOTA is a worldwide event in which about 500,000 scouts and guides participate in every year. This year at our guide hall we had two radios set up (one ran on 2m and the other on 40m & 80m). There were also many activities and games set out for the guides and scouts to enjoy. It was great to see so many happy faces there.
