Our History

In 2010, Girl Guides around the world celebrated the Centenary of Guiding.  The organisation was founded by Robert Baden-Powell in London in1910.  The movement quickly spread around the globe and became popular in many towns and cities.

We are currently collecting information about the history of Winston Hills Girl Guides.

Anything and everything about the history of Winston Hills Girl Guides would be appreciated.
(eg. What units were there?, Who were the leaders and girls? Activities you did and events you went to?  Uniform, Badges, The hall, The beginning, Funny stories and anecdotes, ....)
