Global Action Theme (GAT) Badges
The GAT Badges are based on WAGGGS' Global Action Theme "together we can change our world". It has 9 sections - 1 general section and 8 sections each focusing on one of the United Nation's Millennium Development Goals.
There are 3 levels:
- Basic (Bronze) - 6 Activities
- Advanced (Silver) - 8 Activities
- Specialist (Gold) - 12 Activities
Activities can range from creating a 5 minute radio talk to drawing pictures of how you travel to your Girl Guide meeting, from making a water filter to going bushwalking. There are so many activities, your hardest challenge will be deciding what to choose.
