About Us

Girl Guides gives girls the opportunity to make new friends, have fun and learn skills for life.  Girls participate in both indoor and outdoor activities relevant to their age group with variety being the key as activities range from camping and canoeing to craft and cooking.  An award system is also available for girls to undertake challenges in specific areas enabling them to discover their potential as they earn a range of badges.

Winston Hills Girl Guides is part of the Greater Rivers Region which is about one hour north-west of Sydney (between Parramatta and Baulkham Hills) in New South Wales, Australia.  We meet in our own hall once a week for 1¹/₂  to 2 hours (depending on the age group). Our hall is located on Edison Pde, Winston Hills (map).  We have four units; Winston Hills Billabong Junior Guides for girls aged 7-10, Winston Hills Celestial Guides for girls ages 10-14, Winston Hills Supernova Senior Guides for girls aged 14-18 and Winston Hills Olave Program for women aged 18-30.
